Job Description

A Solution Architect at our company plans and builds enterprise application systems and responds to development needs by researching technical trends and recommending software packages, frameworks, design approaches, and guidance. They work with infrastructure to help define required hardware and software needed to support new and existing systems. They develop detailed architecture models for the business and/or IT in partnership with the Technical Architects and Business Analysts. A solution Architect also needs to have a good understanding of the relevant business processes and technologies used at the company in order to facilitate successful transformation to new solutions.

: Maintaining the quality of solutions we engineer by assuring that those solutions comply with business requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.
: Designing and documenting the architecture required to support project deliverables.
: Documenting non-functional technical requirements (deployment, performance, recoverability, release management, capacity, monitoring).
: Determining and documenting the architectural decisions that affect the design and implementation of a solution.
: Ensuring solutions fit with the enterprise architecture principles and guidelines.
: Resolving issues related to the architecture and recommending alternative solutions.
: Collaborating with Technical Architects, Business analysts, and other infrastructure teams on a wide range of tasks, including software development, package installation, and changes that may have impact across several technical areas.

: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
: Responsible for the architecture and successful deployment of multiple projects through their complete implementation lifecycles.
: Good understanding of Oracle Core Technology, Oracle Databases, and Development tools.
: Familiarity with Oracle cloud solutions.
: Good understanding of middleware and web services technologies.
: Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
