Job Description

The IT Architect/Sr. Developer will be responsible for leading, managing, and architecting strategic and tactical projects related to collaboration. The Collaboration team's primary function is to design, configure, implement, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot our rapidly growing Collaboration environment. These systems include aspects of workflow and business process management. This position will work closely with the business units and senior management to help define and deliver project work and work to support existing systems.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
: Be a senior specialist on collaboration architecture approaches and best practices for O365 SharePoint/Teams, PowerApps and Flow, and related technologies
: Recommend and implement collaboration standards
: Maintain current knowledge of collaboration architecture and related technologies ensuring staying relevant with latest changes and technologies in this field
: Identify gaps and weaknesses in current architecture and drive improvements
: Lead effort to design and maintain the current and future collaboration architecture in O365/SharePoint/Teams
: Establish, build, and lead new SharePoint development team
: Work with business and IT teams to understand strategy, challenges, objectives, landscape priorities and requirements.
: Present Center of Excellence capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.
: Create data and application models, architecture documentation and other project deliverables related to defining and implementing collaboration solutions
: Develop/manage the creation of POCs in order to gain insights, test and prove approaches and evaluate 3rd party products
: Assist in managing 3rd party development and support resources as required to ensure the successful design and delivery of solutions
: Design new collaboration solutions and manage their implementation, monitor performance and assist in tuning and enhancing solutions to continually improve the user experience
: Manage migration of Intranet, IBM Notes applications, and other legacy collaboration platforms to current architecture.

: Deep understanding of collaboration and related topics
: Team collaboration, enabling document sharing, collaborative editing / content creation and publishing
: Social platforms, enabling posting, threaded discussions, ratings, subscribing/following content topics and specific authors
: Experienced project leader - able to define work tasks, set priorities, ensure proper utilization, monitor and report on progress
: Coordinate and manage vendor engagements
: Must be a motivated independent driver
: Capable of forward thinking and of moving strategic plans into action
: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and communicate technical information to IT Leadership, the business, developers and support staff
: Process development and workflow implementation

Desired Technical Skills
: Minimum five years' experience in analysis, design, and hands-on development of enterprise collaboration solutions and web-based applications
: 3 years focused on architecting/implementing/managing enterprise collaboration and social solutions in complex global environments
: Strong experience as primary technical leader on successful large collaboration solution deployments with the ability to manage resources and multiple projects simultaneously
: Experience managing/leading small teams (2-5 people)
: In-depth knowledge (3+ years) of collaboration technologies such as: SharePoint (2016, O365), Search, Teams, OneDrive, PowerApps, Flow.
: Knowledge of application, database/content, system, and network design
: In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft platform (Azure, IIS, .NET, Web Services, SQL Server, Windows Server, Clustering, Active Directory, etc.)
: Experience configuring and delivery of third party products (e.g. workflow and orchestration engines, Practice Management Systems, Portals, Document Management Systems etc...) a plus
