IT Security Engineer

Role Overview
The IT Security Engineer implements and maintains company's Information Security technical controls in accordance with the corporate information security program. The Security Engineer performs the identification, evaluation, selection, implementation and optimization of new Information Security initiatives. The Security Engineer provides support for security events and incidents and resolves or escalates as necessary.

Key Areas of Responsibility
: Develop, implement and maintain the information security safeguards and measures to enforce organization information security policies, standards, and procedures
: This role will be approximately 50% dedicated to project work and 50% security operational support
: Provide operational support for Information Security
: Participates in information security incident response activity
: Participate in weeklong 24/7 on-call support rotation and off hours or weekends as needed
: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and vendors
: Minimal travel

Minimum Qualifications
: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
: 4 years cumulative information security experience which should in any of the following domains:
•Network & Endpoint Security
•Cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure
•Security Monitoring & Incident Handling
•Threat Intelligence
•Vulnerability Management
•Identity & Access Management
•Security Operations

Other Required Qualifications
: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications
Any relevant security certifications, such as: GIAC or CISSP
